WellMed is operating vaccination clinics in support of the San Antonio community. Typically we run two sites, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm. Depending on supply, we may operate more or less hours and may open additional sites.

Non clinical volunteers will fill in for any role where needed including front door screener, runner or patient monitor. You may also be asked to complete administrative tasks for the clinic.

Volunteers are eligible for the vaccine after 20 hours of service.

  • 07:30 AM to 12:30 PM

The WellMed Charitable Foundation was established in 2006 by Dr. George Rapier III, a noted physician who is also the Chairman of the Board. The Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, and the philanthropic partner of WellMed Medical Management, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.

Description

The foundation offers a variety of programs that directly serve seniors and their caregivers across Texas and Florida. The foundation is also the research arm for the company, engaging in partnerships that explore innovative ways to care for seniors. In addition, the foundation has contributed millions to non-profit partners who serve the senior and caregiver population.
