Intern/Volunteer Requirements and Qualifications:
*Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
*Must be 18 years of age or older
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Self-directed and able to work without supervision
*Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
*We'd prefer students/graduates that are currently seeking a degree in social work, psychology, and public health.
Job Description:
*Assists the program manager with the development and management of the program
*Assists with researching and implementing content for the company blog, program marketing tools, and social media content.
*Assists with establishing partnerships with prospective corporate sponsors.
*Assists the program manager with grant research projects.
*Performs community outreach initiatives, promoting the organization to local healthcare leaders
*Assists with the eligibility evaluation operations and enrollment of applications
*Manages the programs curriculum and calendar
*Resolves scheduling conflicts and service issues
*Active liaison between service providers and the organization
*Reviews and reports track and trend issues and collaborates with management to create solutions
*Assists with enrollment/data entry projects
*Assists with staffing and contracting projects.
*Leads community engagement and mental health awareness projects.
*Assists with funding initiatives
*Conducts intake interviews with members who request counseling or life coaching services and completes the required clinical documentation via our electronic system.
*Ability to facilitate individual online/virtual support group’s and monitor content and report updates on weekly content
*Attends training seminars, staff meetings and supervision on a weekly basis and in a prompt manner
*Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain Excel spreadsheets
*Manage databases and input information, data, and records
*Update and post supervised social media and website content; respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails

Our wellness program promotes healthy behaviors by using upbeat, fun, interactive and integrative approaches. This medical and healthcare professional led program, was designed to provide services that can contribute to the reduction of obesity, nutrition based diseases, high blood pressure and cardiac issues while also focusing on building self esteem and other wellness areas that the client would like to focus on.
