Chinatown Museum Foundation, which governs the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, located in Chicago’s Chinatown, is looking to increase its number of board directors. If you are interested in serving on a nonprofit board with other individuals who are passionate about advancing the appreciation of Chinese American culture through exhibitions, education, and research to preserve the past, present, and future of Chinese Americans primarily in the Midwest and working with organizations, visitors, and community leaders across the country to tell the story of Chinese Americans primarily in the Midwest and to build a community around a continuous dialogue illustrating how Chinese American culture and contributions are an important part of the American fabric, we would love for you to join us. Chinese descent or Chinese-speaking is not required, but knowledge of Chinese American history is preferred.
