Staining Wood, Installing Linoleum for South Berkeley Senior Center

We're helping out the South Berkeley Senior Center with some small projects. First, they have some new chair railings that are currently raw wood, which need to be stained and finished to match other furniture. Second, there is a small area of flooring that needs linoleum to be installed.
Everyone is welcome to come help out. Experience with either staining wood or installing linoleum would be greatly appreciated!
Shifts are scheduled for 6 hours, but we're flexible!

Description
Volunteers from the community come together to build wheelchair ramps, fix front steps, install emergency grab bars, paint, and complete smaller and larger renovation projects for seniors and people with disabilities, as well as local nonprofit organizations in need of assistance.
