Summary

We are looking for an experienced SEO/Content Specialist focused on growing organic traffic through mental health counseling-tailored online content products that support brick-and-mortar operations. The SEO/Content Specialist will work closely with the outreach and program teams as well as upper management to execute on the SEO strategy as well as ensure that our products are built SEO-friendly. The ideal candidate is passionate about figuring out how search engines work through careful research and testing, and excited to use this knowledge to help people find counseling and resources they need to improve their mental health. You will drive Straight Talk’s learning and growth in the online search space, staying on top of changes among search behavior, search engines, and competitors to create impactful growth initiatives. You will have the technical experience to work with our various stores of data, leveraging that information into actionable, scalable SEO improvements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure website pages and searches are optimized for crawlability and indexing
• Develop and execute internal link strategies to help content rank in search engines
• Collaborate with strategic staff to create optimized SEO content like blog posts and landing pages
• Edit all SEO content from external content creators before publishing to maintain quality
• Enhance SEO content through copywriting tactics like Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
