Head of Fundraising
Austin Advocates for Small Business is looking for an outgoing and hard working individual to join our startup nonprofit in Austin TX. This is a volunteer (non paying) position that will be in charge of running the Fundraising Committee. This is a key role of our organization so passion for our cause is very important.

Founded in Austin, TX, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, AASB provides resources to local small businesses including but not limited to: volunteer mentorship programs for small business owners, networking opportunities with our extensive volunteer, partner, and sponsor networks, and future commitments of grant raising for startups and other small business entities.
Job Description and Requirements
Minimum Term Commitment: 2 years
- Bi- Weekly meetings with committee members
- Reaching out to sponsors and partners for contributions
- Strategizing fundraising campaigns and overseeing implementation
- Report to the Director of Finance on Fundraising objectives and goals
- Community outreach in the private sector
Qualifications
- Fundraising experience with Nonprofit Organizations
- Passion for the small business community
- Primary residence is within the City of Austin Metropolitan area

AASB makes it possible for the small business community in Austin to succeed.
Description
AAASB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps small business owners, at any stage, excel in their business. Austin Advocates was founded as a response to COVID-19 when businesses became heavily impacted.
Within 90 days, AASB was able to set up a network of 30+ volunteer consultants in various professional fields to work directly with small businesses. Our mentorship program has helped numerous small businesses including local restaurants Eat Royal Fusion, Bowl Menu, Luxe Apothetique, and Buzz Boutique.
AASB provides resources to local small businesses including but not limited to: volunteer mentorship programs for small business owners, networking opportunities with our extensive volunteer, partner, and sponsor networks, and future commitments of grant raising for startups and other small business entities.
