We are seeking an unpaid IT volunteer/intern to work 10 am to 2 pm, your choice of 2 days a week, Monday through Thursday. This candidate would be responsible for setting up PCs, laptops and IMacs for staff and program participants. You would make sure the appropriate software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Docs and Google Drive for Desktop, is installed and set up. You would be responsible for troubleshooting any computer or printer issues and provide steps towards resolution as needed. Additionally, you would ensure our network is working properly and that each device can connect to it while also troubleshooting any issues accordingly and escalating issue to ISP as needed. You would be in charge of the setup and install new hardware such as printers (including ink/toner), cordless phones, VoIP phones or wifi extenders. You would manage G Suite with adding or removing users, resetting passwords, trouble shooting any issues related to mail and/or Google Drive for Desktop. This candidate would also manage Barracuda Security in ensuring emails are being encrypted as needed. The perfect volunteer must be able to protect private and confidential information including information regarding our staff members, interns, participants and the company. Additionally, this volunteer must be comfortable and willing to work with young adults with Autism.

  • 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM
    Days are flexible, Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm, 2 days a week

ASD Adult Achievement Center is a non-profit provider of services for individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Founded in 2016, ASD Achievement serves adults 18 and over who desire greater independence. ASD Achievement provides training and education in the areas of independent life skills, social skills, executive function skills and job readiness skills to Central Florida residents.
