Side Walker
ORGANIZATION: Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center
Please visit the new page to apply.
Side Walkers don't need to have any horse experience! In fact, even though they are around horses, they have very little interaction with the horse. Their primary goal is the safety and experience of the rider. Riders may have one or two side walkers at their side to keep them safe and engaged in the lesson. Side walkers are mentors to our riders throughout a session. As a side walker, you get to watch your rider grow and learn in their skills and strengths. To become a side walker, you will need to attend a training session, and then can sign up for a day and a time to volunteer with a rider each week!
