Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. is seeking individuals to become Fair Housing Testers.

Fair Housing Testers are "secret shoppers" who take on the role of a profiled prospective tenant or homebuyer, assigned by our Tester Coordinator, and collect information about housing providers.

Description

The Legal Aid Society's Fair housing Project "FHP" provides community outreach, education, advocacy and enforcement of all federal, state and local housing laws to ensure that no Palm Beach County resident is denied access to housing based upon his/her race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, marital status, familial status, age, and / or sexual orientation.

  • What are the Qualifications?  Must be 18 years of age or older and consent to a criminal background check. Candidates must not have a felony conviction.  Strong writing skills and attention to detail.  Ability to follow instructions.
