National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE OF CHARLOTTE COUNTY FLORIDA INC
Dog walkers at the Animal Welfare League provide exercise and enrichment for in-house dogs. Leash walks are the main form of exercise for AWL dogs and it is important for their health and wellbeing during their stay to go out on walks as much as possible! In addition to walking dogs, volunteers can help with basic obedience training with the guidance of AWL Staff. Volunteers can help teach dogs skills like leash walking, healing, staying, and sitting. This enrichment can shorten their stay and help dogs ultimately become more adoptable!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
