Do you enjoy helping those in need? Do you like talking on the phone? Then Altus Hospice's Tuck-In program, is for you!!
Altus Hospice is seeking volunteers to take part in our "Tuck-In Program."
What is a "Tuck in Program?" Well, I am glad you asked! Volunteers make a phone call to each patient every week on either a Wednesday or Thursday to "Tuck" them in for the weekend. This is our way of ensuring that our patients have enough supplies and medications to see them through until the next week begins.
If our patients need anything, our team delivers their requested items in a timely manner. This is our way of extending comfort and care while we are not in the home.

Description
Our job providing end of life care is a sacred one, one which we view as a privilege. The Altus Hospice staff has a duty to treat each individual under our care, as well as our fellow team members, with the utmost respect, while honoring each individual’s choices and core values.
