Our Board is looking to bring on 1-2 new co-treasurers to share responsibilities for our organization that include: provide timely financial reports to the Board, reconcile and pay bills to our partner clinics, provide financial data to support grant requirements, and oversee annual processes like tax submissions and budget proposals. Estimated time commitment is 4-5 hours/month. Board terms are 3 years, and meetings are held virtually.
No applicant needs to have ALL of these skills - we're hoping to bring on a couple of passionate, talented folks to share these responsibilities. If you have financial skills, a willingness to learn alongside our current treasurer, and time to volunteer for reproductive justice, please apply!
No age, Board experience, or donation requirements to join. Visit the links below to read more about the position and apply! Apply by 3/26.

About IOWA ABORTION ACCESS FUND
Location:
PO BOX 721, CEDAR RAPIDS, IA 52406, US
Mission Statement
The Iowa Abortion Access Fund is dedicated to the belief that the freedom to choose legal abortion should be available to all individuals. IAAF is committed to providing financial assistance and access to abortion services for people in Iowa, including the Quad Cities area, who lack the resources to pay for an abortion.
Description
The Iowa Abortion Access Fund was founded over 40 years ago, and today operates as a volunteer-led organization committed to providing affirming, judgment-free financial support to individuals in our community who otherwise could not afford the full cost of their abortion care. We know that access to healthcare is not equitable in our society, and work to reduce and remove barriers to equal access. People of all income levels, racial and ethnic identities, and gender identities deserve to make empowered choices about their reproductive health and future - funding abortion helps to make that possible.
