Bomb Techs Without Borders is looking for an Operations Coordinator to support our expanding operations arm of the organization. We will look to you to provide your expertise to create a cohesive organizational image in furtherance of our nonprofit’s goals.
As an Operations Coordinator, we expect you to support the general operations of the organization including planning purchases, preparing contracts and coordinating the business budget. Exceptional communication skills are a must along with a strong knowledge of computer technology and general office operations.
As a volunteer, you have full control over your schedule. We are looking for our Operations Coordinator volunteer to assist us with the following:
Responsibilities:
Support general business operations and Operations leadership
Coordinate logistical details of projects to ensure on-time project delivery
Maintain accurate operations materials and documents for reference purposes
Coordinate project launches, meetings, and seminars by ensuring that all logistics are managed properly
Assist with operational planning activities and ensure that any needed modifications are appropriately incorporated
Plan and schedule activities in a proactive manner by interacting with both external agencies and organizations
Produce and distribute relevant project material and resources to all program participants
Disseminate tasks through operational staff and ensure that all directives are being continuously met
Record and update operational information of all projects and program participants in the company database.
Create and implement an ongoing interface with sister organizations, partners and vendors
Prepare procedure and guidance notes to present to leaders and team
Develop appropriate channels of communication across groups to facilitate teamwork
Identify process improvement opportunities for operational efficiency
Qualifications
Adequate experience as a coordinator in a business environment
Experience in a startup environment is a plus
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Proficient in technology and general office equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Bomb Techs Without Borders is a humanitarian de-mining non-profit founded in 2018. Our mission is to improve the world by clearing former war zones of unexploded ordnance, bombs, explosive remnants of war, weapons of war by investing in economic development and through mine risk education efforts.
