Assistance League of Pomona Valley operates a small Dental Clinic providing no-cost dental care to very low income level families in the Pomona Valley area, including children/students, adults and seniors. We are significantly expanding the clinic to increase the number of adults and seniors served, and we are looking for volunteer staff to support the dental center operation 1 to 2 days a week. We are looking for volunteers who: 1. Speak fluent Spanish and are comfortable working with low-poverty level income families including children/students and adults/seniors 2. Has some experience in a dental office or similar office environment, with maintaining files and computer records, and contact with patients to help fill out information forms 3. Someone who is familiar with, or interested in learning, basic Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal billing 4. Someone who is compassionate and willing to help less fortunate families in our communities
Please contact us today if you are interested in this ongoing volunteer opportunity. Thank you for your interest!
