We are looking for folks who enjoy meeting new people and providing companionship to our hospice patient's. Imagine being home bound and cannot go out much anymore because you're too sick. We have volunteers who play checkers, paint fingernails, provide a movie night, sit on the porch count cars... Just to have someone check on you, to say I care, I am your buddy is priceless.

Description
Enhabit is looking for direct patient and administrative volunteers to provide support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much time and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
