Have you ever wondered if you could support, learn, and grow with an organization that provides Mindfulness to reduce the pain and suffering of the world?

Here is an opportunity to do just that. You can assist us in providing Mindfulness programs to mothers and fathers, children & teens, singles & couples, doctors, nurses, and all who live with stress and anxiety. To support our efforts in teaching inner-Mindfulness-skills that all human beings should know to live without so much stress, anxiety, worry, and distractibility. To empower them to live life with ease and well-being.

We are looking for three very special people who have the skills, expertise, experience, passion, and time to be part of something very meaningful that can improve the hearts and minds of humanity. The world is changing in fundamental ways, and people get lost in worrying about uncertainties of the future and sorrows of the past. Millions of people suffer from not being attentive to their work, their lives, their loved ones, to their own health and well-being. But we can help, as we have for over 13 years.

These are unprecedented times where through the internet, we are able to reach millions more all around the world and touch everyone as one family-the human family. We are in a position to educate and train so many more in the art of peacefulness, compassion, and self-healing through Mindful Awareness meditation and wisdom practices.

We are Perfectly Here , a dba of Mindful Valley, established in 2007 serving the greater Los Angeles area, across the nation and recently expanded globally. We are a non-profit organization, teaching individuals and groups the art of Mindful Awareness through curricula designed by the Mindful Awareness Research Center at UCLA. Our goal is to offer these and other advanced Mindfulness programs to 5000 new people in the next three years. And we need the help of dedicated and passionate people to help us reach this goal. The positive ripple effects of this goal will be immeasurable as each person trained in the art of Mindfulness and compassion will impact so many others in positive ways. Our founder, Dr. Manijeh Motaghy, is an International Speaker, UCLA Affiliate Mindfulness Teacher, and Corporate Trainer. She has over 10,000 hours of practice and training in Mindfulness and Buddhist teachings plus a Doctorate in Psychology of Management Consulting. Manijeh is an expert in transforming her students and clients’ to optimized levels of personal and professional advancement. She guides us through all of the organization’s development and affairs.

This volunteer position is for three Motion Graphics Designers who can contribute to our web development team. You will design industry-leading brand communications and produce beautiful content; conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns and tell the story of Perfectly Here through brand design in both the digital and physical worlds. This is a supportive role that will use skills in both animation and design. The ideal candidate has solid animation fundamentals, variety of design and motion graphics skills, embraces new challenges with a positive disposition, and thrives in a team environment.

Applicants selected for this position would have an interest in meditation and mindfulness. They are equipped with flexibility, patience, critical thinking skills, and creativity in order to integrate into our vibrant and dynamic team. We would like to hear from candidates who are in a place in life where they have the experience, time, and interest to commit to the needs of our growing organization. The ideal candidate embraces peace, self-awareness, and is on the journey of wisdom, and service and looking to learn, and grow with us.

Responsibilities (priorities can often change, so this role includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities):    

• Produce work that demonstrates a proven knowledge of typography and composition, with a high level of creativity and innovation.
• Create brand campaigns, digital experiences, social media content, activations, and more.
• Work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to deliver a cohesive message that is professional and polished.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years work experience as a motion graphics artist or related position.
• Understanding of culture and is constantly seeking what’s new in technology, mindfulness/wellbeing, and social media.
• Excellent understanding of how to apply our brand aesthetics to motion and interaction design.
• Positive attitude, team collaboration, and idea sharing.
• Multidisciplinary designer at heart.
• Detailed individual with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with the rest of the design team.
• A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work autonomously, and you're willing (and able) to handle responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can effectively articulate and support your ideas.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite.
