Jewish Family Services is seeking volunteers with various backgrounds and skills to re-open our senior center in person. All opportunities are on-going and flexible. Volunteers with the following expertise or passions are needed:
1: Computer literate to teach software and assist members in registering seniors for classes online
2: Skilled with camera usage to assist in streaming classes for seniors, comfortable with technology, and reliable
3: Art/Painting/Craft skills to teach weekly, biweekly, or monthly class to seniors
4: Interpersonal skills and sensitive to lead men's support group
5: Background in philosophy to teach a monthly class on a broad topic, such as "what is happiness?"
6: Comedy background to leas a weekly Improv group on Friday mornings
7: Skilled in women's issues to lead talking groups on women's empowerment, etc.
8: Movie buff to introduce, watch and lead discussion groups for members on Monday afternoons for 2.5 to 3 hours.

Description
JFS seeks to provide a helping hand to all in South Palm Beach County regardless of age, culture, religion, ethnicity, race or sexual orientation. Families in crisis, frail seniors in need of assistance in the home, adults dealing with life cycle challenges, schools seeking to educate students about substance abuse and other issues, and institutions and businesses looking for educational partnerships all rely on JFS for support and clinical expertise.
