Title: Seeking Tutor to teach a Foreign Language to kids

About the organization:

We are a nonprofit organization based in New York.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and creative volunteer to conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with 4-5 children. Programs Director matches a tutor with a child who would like to learn the foreign language. Tutor meets with children for 1 hour per child.

Location: on-line

Requirements
*Strong speaking, reading, and writing skills in the foreign language you tutor in.

*20 years of age and up

*Experience working with young children (elementary and middle school age/grade)

*Patience (we work with special ed. children and this requires patience)


Hours: 6-8 hour per week of volunteer work; seasonal/summer (starts July 5th and ends August 25th)

Trainings: There are trainings and on-going trainings on child/student behavior management, special education, lesson planning, and more.
