The Westerville Library Foundation is currently recruiting folks to serve on our Board of Trustees - we’re a great group of volunteers with a passion for supporting our incredible 5-star public library! Community members and patrons, educators, and professionals from the library/information science, nonprofit and/or finance sector make ready candidates, but this is by no means an exclusive or exhaustive list - if you love to visit the library and you’d enjoy giving back, we’d like to hear from you!
Trustees must reside within the central Ohio area, and serve three-year terms. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month. Attendance at monthly meetings is expected, with opportunities to serve on committees and volunteer at events as your schedule allows.

Mission Statement
Ensuring the long-term financial stability of the Westerville Public Library through endowment management and fundraising.
Description
The Westerville Library Foundation financially supports the Westerville Public Library's 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program; the Foundation has also funded the newly-installed StoryWalk at Johnston-McVay Park, acquisition of adaptive technology, and raised relief monies during a recent flood. The Foundation is tasked with maintaining and growing the endowment, to ensure that the library continues to serve Westerville patrons in perpetuity. Currently, the Foundation solicits donations through an Annual Campaign, and raises funds through book sales, author receptions, and Special Events.
