The Fight For Air Climb is a stair climb race for the American Lung Association taking place in person on Saturday, May 22 at Pierce Memorial Stadium in East Providence, RI. Hundreds of participants, including firefighters dressed in full gear, will run or walk through the stadium stands in support of our mission, which directly supports our COVID-19 Action Initiative (learn more at Lung.org/cv19-action).
We are in need of volunteers to join us from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make the Climb the best day ever! Volunteering is free and you'll get a free t-shirt and lunch provided. Will you join us?
Duties include: cheering in stands, passing out t-shirts and water, helping at check-in, etc.

All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Safety First
The safest environment for gathering is outside in the fresh air, and to create that safe environment, we will be:
* Spatial distancing and wearing masks
* Controlling number of people on-site
* Following strict site sanitation protocols throughout the day
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

To save lives by promoting lung health and preventing lung disease.
The American Lung Association is a non-profit organization. Started in 1904 to stop the spread of TB, the organization has made great strides in stopping smoking in public places and continues to do research, education and advocacy for lung diseases such as asthma, copd, lung cancer and more.
In the Boston area, we hold an annual gala to support lung cancer awareness and we are looking for committee members to assist us with the planning of this wonderful event.
