Mission Statement

FIYAH. EDIFYING. EMPOWERING. DEVELOPING.'s mission is to improve purposeful relations and engagement in the community through creative interpersonal mental and physical health by integrating conversation, education and the Arts.

Description

F.E.E.D. provides a positive outlet that fosters a judgement free zone, a sense of accomplishment and a therapeutic experience for all. Our goal is to nurture, serve and allow a safe haven for healing conversation within my community. From families with traumatic experiences or the economic pressure of everyday life these topics are affecting society especially people of color. Noticing this impediment to the evolution of these communities, we understand that there are not enough resources to assist those in need of therapeutic reassurance.

Our organization has launched several experiences and opportunities for everyone, including teens to adults, to share their experiences of struggles and triumphs of marriage, parenting, career, entrepreneurship, self-esteem and self worth. The experience encourages bravery and empathy while other women relate and uplift in a circle of transparency and empowerment.

True Talks , where the youth have a voice and feel empowered, inspired, within a safe platform to heal through self-care, conversation, and personal growth activities.

The uniqueness of FEED allows its participants to seize an array of gratifying opportunities with productive, engaging activities and conversation working towards the decrease of stress factors within them.
