The Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) recruits volunteers to work one on one with participants experiencing vision loss. If you have compassion, enjoy getting to know someone in your community, and want to make a real difference in the life of a neighbor in need, then this volunteer opportunity is for you!
Currently we have an urgent need for someone in the Quincy area to help an elderly gentleman go to the grocery store and pick out his groceries. Volunteers should have a car, be patient, caring and trustworthy
Help someone in need live the full and complete lives they want to live!
Volunteers can make their own schedule. Volunteers should commit to 1-2 hours per week or every other week. Visit www.mabvi.org for more information on our organization!

Mission Statement
Established in 1903, the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) is the oldest program in the country providing services to adults with vision loss. Helen Keller served on our first advisory board. MABVI is dedicated to empowering individuals to live with dignity. We provide access to a full range of sight loss services and help reduce fears and isolation caused by vision loss. With offices in Brookline and Worcester, we serve more than 7,000 blind and visually impaired individuals every year. MABVI is a program of MAB Community Services.
