Currently we have need for volunteers in Quincy, Braintree, Milton, and Weymouth
Openings include:
- Helping an elderly gentleman read mail and magazines, picking up essential items at CVS or grocery store, and helping to alleviate social isolation
- Helping an elderly woman once a week grocery shop.
- Helping a middle aged man grocery shop once ever other week
-Assisting a newly retired woman with clothes shopping and some mail reading once every other week
Help someone in need live the full and complete lives they want to live!
Volunteers can make their own schedule. Volunteers should commit to 1-2 hours per week or every other week. Visit www.mabvi.org for more information on our organization!

Mission Statement
Established in 1903, the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) is the oldest program in the country providing services to adults with vision loss. Helen Keller served on our first advisory board. MABVI is dedicated to empowering individuals to live with dignity. We provide access to a full range of sight loss services and help reduce fears and isolation caused by vision loss. With offices in Brookline and Worcester, we serve more than 7,000 blind and visually impaired individuals every year. MABVI is a program of MAB Community Services.
