ORGANIZATION: GUIDING THE WISE INC

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: .

  • Responsible for weekly review of programs to ensure content adheres to contracted guidelines, standards, specifications, etc.
  • Assist with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Assist with community outreach, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Assist with grant research and grant projects.
  • Ensure that all grant compliance measures are maintained and execute grant assessment process.
  • Ensure that grant outcome data is compliantly collected and reported by the deadline. Ensure all grant outcomes are met.
  • Provides direct supervision to the management staff members in the Program Operations Department.
  • Ensures that staff appropriately identifies the needs of the clients, provides appropriate referrals, and follows up with resources to promote the client’s successful achievement of the housing plan goals.
  • Responsible for participating in all aspects of monitoring, certification and accreditation meetings.
  • Oversees the development and management of the business operations for the company.
  • Understands and implements the Organization’s policies and procedures on a daily basis.
  • Develop and maintain program budgets and monitor monthly progress/variances.
  • Responsible for program retention and growth.
  • Oversees staffing projects for Program Managers.
  • Act as a community representative to agencies such as Department of Children and Families, CDS, Early Learning Coalition, Children’s Services Council, School Board of Broward County, the United Way and any other community partners.
  • Implement established Program Quality Standards and participate in the development of these standards.
  • Develop and maintain regular communication and relationships with corporate sponsors and clients.

  • Responsible for the management of program staff, including their scheduling and monitoring of leave and attendance.
  • Facilitate weekly staff meetings, providing agenda, attendance and meeting minutes.
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with the Founder.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Must have the minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Public Health, or Healthcare Management

1-2 years’ supervisory experience.

Pay: No Compensation

Schedule: Flexible scheduling with a 8 hour week commitment

This medical and healthcare professional led program, was designed to provide services that can contribute to the reduction of obesity, nutrition based diseases, high blood pressure and cardiac issues while also focusing on building self esteem and other wellness areas that the client would like to focus on.
