The Modern Black Inventors Fund’s mission to change the Diversity and Inclusion of across the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics landscape on the United States. In order to do this we need to raise funds to support the thousands of Underrepresented youth who have educational aspirations in a STEM field but need a variety of support.We are 100% inclusive of human beings from the planet earth.
We need volunteers to conduct outreach and secure funding to support our core initiatives.
Scholarship, Mentorship, Apprenticeship, Entrepreneurship and Ownership. Stuck home due to The pandemic? Build your resume with this real world experience!
Position requirements:
outside the box thinking & outside the line coloring
off the wall innovation
against the norm problem solving
wildly criticized ideas (that actually work)
cutting edge ideas that make people think (and just might work!)
the want and need to change the world
important stuff that’s the core of the position
Participation in monthly meetings (Virtual)
outreach to individuals via email & phone to solicit funds
Development and revisions of fundraising script
Add /Remove people on mailing list as per their request
categorize contacts (funder, advocate, sponsor, etc)
Find inventors
Evaluate partnership opportunities however off the wall
You must be able to name 1 Modern Black Inventor.
What’s next?
With the help of Volunteers like you we can change the world fir underrepresented youth. by just working together! Skip the Starbucks coffee one day this month and send a kid to MIT!

Mission Statement
The Modern Black Inventors Fund is committed to the Diversity and inclusion of underrepresented youth in STEM careers. We support the education of underrepresented youth in all fields STEM related and support modern black inventors in their endeavors to become patented, regardless of age. We are developing a Mobile Laboratory exhibit called the Black Inventors Bus which we purchased from the American Museum of Natural History. We will work together to change the American business landscape starting with Silicon Valley.

- You must have passion. I can teach you how to sell, I can teach you how to ask for money but if you do not have a passion for helping Underrepresented youth, it can not be taught. If you are passionate, come join us.
