The creation of memory bears is a wonderful way to help mend hearts and keep memories close. Caring and compassionate community volunteers are an integral part of our team and we welcome your support. Our volunteers share our calling to bring comfort and help to others when they need it the most.
No travel is required - I would bring you the (family/patient provided) material, pattern and supplies need to create the bears.
Serving as a non-direct care hospice volunteer requires:
- Submitting an application, including two references
- Successfully passing background checks (cost covered by ViaQuest)
-Proof of Covid vaccination or appropriate exemption
- Completing a brief orientation session, scheduled at your convenience - Completing a bear from provided material as a sample of your work
