All teachers/tutors must complete a 9-hour tutor training workshop to be certified through ProLiteracy to teach for CFLC. The workshop includes 6 hours of instruction via Zoom and about 3 hours of independent homework. The cost of the Adult Literacy training is $20 (this pays for your textbook, ProLiteracy Certification, and additional training materials).
The workshop will be held virtually in the evenings on April 12, 15, 19, and 22 (that’s M/TH, M/TH) from 6 - 7:30 pm.
Please contact Adult Literacy Program Director, Nancy Woolley, at 910 251 0911 for more information on registration.
