Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay, Inc.
Seniors in Service at The Franciscan Center - Week of Caring 2021 The Franciscan Center | http://www.franciscancentertampa.org
The Franciscan Center in Tampa provides life changing programs for the community including first responders and veterans.
Our building, being 50 years old, is always in need of refreshing and updating.
We would like to create a bird and butterfly garden in a walled space attached to our conference room that will be used for peaceful respite, meetings, and Zoom programs when weather permits.
The existing garden has been neglected for years and needs to be cleaned out and new soil, mulch, plants added. Other work around the building may be available including cleaning/weeding/trimming/painting.
We ask volunteers to bring garden tools and gloves.
Volunteer projects for Week of Caring will be following CDC guidelines regarding face masks and social distancing.
T-shirts will be provided on-site by United Way Suncoast. Volunteers will be asked for their t-shirt size when registering below.
Thank you for volunteering!
