Paw Partners Unleashed is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to help expand our volunteer team. The Volunteer Coordinator plays an integral role by coordinating and overseeing activities related to the organization’s volunteer program.

This volunteer position requires an average commitment of 2-3 hours per week (hours will vary depending on volunteer interest and needs). The position can be shared by two volunteers and most tasks can be performed from a remote location.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and screen volunteers through a variety of methods (i.e., online ads, social media posts, networking, volunteer recruitment events). Match new volunteers with available opportunities, taking skills and interests into account.
• Conduct volunteer orientation and assist with training, including health and safety measures and protocol adherence.
• Schedule and coordinate volunteer assignments, ensuring that the organization is consistently staffed with the most effective and reliable volunteers.
• Attend and participate in organization events.
• Oversee and maintain volunteer records.
• Maintain volunteer communications, ensuring that volunteers feel supported and are having a positive volunteer experience.
• Respond to volunteer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee volunteer recognition efforts.

Paw Partners Unleashed follows health and safety protocols as advised by the State of Nevada and local Government agencies. Our leadership and volunteer teams provide oversight at events to ensure social distancing and safety guidelines for COVID are followed. Disposable face masks and hand sanitizer are available, as needed, for volunteers and guests attending events.
