As Science on a Sphere Presenter you will be learning presentations on areas such as the solar system, and other space related areas. You will utilize an Ipad and present to audiences about the space and STEM areas. The presentation will have slides on a round sphere that will accompany you during the presentation. We have flexibility but do ask for 2 shifts per month. We are open Tuesdays - Saturdays, 10:00am - 4:00pm. Please reach out to the contact and she will provide more details for you. The Space Foundation pursues an exciting mission addressing space awareness and education: To vigorously advance civil, commercial and national security space endeavors for a brighter future. To passionately provide and support educational excellence through the excitement of space.
The United States Space Foundation (Foundation), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1983, has re-focused and energized its mission and goals under new leadership since 1997. While other organizations focus on classroom activities for children or curriculum development, the Foundation Education Team‚s core competency is professional development for kindergarten through twelfth grade (K-12) teachers. The Foundation formed strategic partnerships and alliances with these organizations and with others in the pre-college and higher educational community, government and industry in order to help achieve the education mission.
We'll work with your schedule.
