Program Manager Internship
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Director with management and oversight of the Community Department Programs.
- Assist in recruiting volunteer and interns to provide instruction to students and to serve on the education advisory committee.
- Assist in establishing committee goals and objectives.
- Assist the Program Director with outreach and partnership process with universities and colleges to facilitate college workshops and to assist with college applications.
- Set and track Community Department Programs goals and outcomes.
- Help the Program Director provide technical assistance and overall support to the Community Department Programs.
- Evaluate and assess the Community Department Programs’ strengths and weaknesses including identifying and addressing risks.
- Help with administering education programs including scheduling classes.
- Train and manage members of the team.
- Help Community Program Director plan student activities and events including college tours, college workshops, student life, and graduation ceremonies.
- Review and oversee program documentation.
- Send program announcements to parents and students; follow up on inquiries as needed.
- Maintain effective communication within the agency (Executive Director and Program Director) and with the community on the progress of the project.
- Other intern duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a degree in Business or Program Management or related field. Working towards Non-Profit Management Degree preferred.
- Natural communicator, leader, and relationship builder.
- Willing to learn about public school system and college process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite
- Proven track record of problem-solving, meeting deadlines, taking the initiative and making well-informed decisions
Hours and Commitment: 10 hours per week for 6 months
Location: Hybrid: Must be from Seminole City, Florida.
Type: Unpaid Volunteer-Intern Position. For college fieldwork credit purpose.

I’RAISE Boys & Girls International Corporation is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization in New York City founded in 2012. We have been providing free tutoring, mentoring and coaching services, virtual performance classes, college preparation program, nutrition workshops, and parent education program. As a minority led non-profit organization with leaders that are women of colors, we feel so much pride and we are so proud being able to provide beneficial resources to the children in under-resourced areas in New York City in-person and multiple-states virtually. And we have been successful in providing these services because of our volunteers. Come volunteer with us as we strive to make positive changes in children's life and be a safe haven that they can rely on!
