ORGANIZATION: A Key To Change, INC.

A Key To Change, INC. is a nonprofit organization that focuses on individuals and their families that have been affected by the criminal justice system by providing rehabilitation and reentry services. We are looking for volunteers board members to serve on our board for a term of one year. We ask volunteers to commit to 10-15 hours a week for a term of one year at a time. We are anticipating opening a pilot forensic peer support specialist program by 2023. Each board member is required to fundraise independently and encouraged to make a personal donation. The personal donation is not required but encouraged. Board member will work on board development, structure of programming, fundraising, and all aspects of the organization. Any experience in criminal justice, nonprofit, and rehabilitation sectors is a plus. Asking individual to be fully committed to the organization and be able to work independently on projects. We are in the process of looking for donated office space so we work remotely and meet up throughtout the valley. We are members of the phoenix chamber of commerce and participate in events.

Our organization is a brand new nonprofit that focuses on individuals and their families who have been affected by the criminal justice system by providing rehabilitation and reentry services. We received our 501c3 status in 2021 and are currently in the process of fundraising and board development.
