Stepping Stones

  • 2 people are interested

We are planning our first fundraiser - an Adventure Quest! This will be a downtown Nashua adventure where each team will follow clues to a destination, and then need to complete a challenge before receiving the clue to their next destination. We are looking for volunteers to be at one of the locations, explain the challenge, take pictures of the team doing the challenge, and give them their next clues once they have completed it. We will also need people to help with getting teams set-up to go, helping with the cookout afterwards, and "runners" to be on hand for any issues with the challenges.

There will be 2 volunteers at each location, so if you someone you would like to volunteer with, just let us know!

The morning of the event, we will go over the challenges with you, give you the explanation of the challenge to share with your adventurers, and give you the clue packets to hand out to them, once they have successfully completed their challenge.

We will also be having a beta-testing day on May 15th for each of the challenges here at Stepping Stones. This is a great way to try out your challenge, and see how others do with it before the actual event. This isn't required, but would be helpful if you can come this day, as well.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to help homeless, unaccompanied youth ages 12-25 become happy self-sufficient adults.

Stepping Stones opened on December 1, 2020 to help homeless youth who have nowhere to go. We have food, showers, laundry, computer access, clothes and more. We also help them with getting vital documents, getting a driver's license, going to school or vocational training, referring them to services for physical and mental health, and a safe place just to rest and recharge.
