Games for Love is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works to ease suffering, save lives, and create sustainable futures for children. We believe in the concept of "distraction therapy" and bring the joy of gaming into the lives of our junior gamers in hospitals around the country. We plan to help 10 million kids in the next 5 years. We have a healthy ecosystem to achieve that goal with your intelligent contribution.

We are seeking a reliable and organized superstar to join our team as a volunteer administrative assistant to provide day-to-day support to our GFL CEO and Founder, Nathan Blair. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly adaptable, and engaged!

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain organizational files and documents
2. Organize and manage the charity awards/events
3. Manage the CEOs schedule so he consistently meets his promised deadlines
4. Engage with the volunteers on Nathan’s behalf
5. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails
6. Collaborate with the People and Culture dept. (HR) for volunteer recognition
7. Create email and postal mail campaigns

Requirements:

1. Able to donate approx. 10-15 hrs. a week for 12 months
2. Live in the Seattle, WA area
3. Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
4. Be familiar with Discord or willing to learn
5. Proficient in G-Suite
6. Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and relationship management skills
8. Game industry knowledge is a plus
