Freedom Hospice needs volunteers throughout the DFW Metroplex including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Richardson, Allen, Frisco, Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, Cleburne, Aledo, and all points between! Cheers on Wheels volunteers will have the opportunity to bring smiles and joy to hospice patients' lives by delivering balloon bouquets to patients on their birthday. They will also have the opportunity to deliver comfort to families in the form of a meal either prior to a loved one's death when families are gathering to sit vigil with the patient, or after the death when families are gathering for the funeral.
This would be the perfect opportunity for college students wanting to make a difference within short intervals of time. Deliveries could be made between classes!
