Special Olympics North Carolina
Special Olympics North Carolina is looking for numerous volunteers to join our Games Management Team for our future local competitions that will be planned throughout the state this fall. Each team will include 10-20 Managers and will work with our team and the local programs on planning and execution. Dates and specific locations are to be determined. Our Games Management Team needs are in the following areas: Information Services, Logistics, Meals, Media Relations, Results, Volunteer Management, Media and Security. Our staff and existing management team will work with you to pair you with the right opportunity depending on our needs and your skills and availability. No prior Special Olympics experience is necessary.
We will schedule a call or meeting to discuss the opportunity with you further. Special Olympics NC Orientation and training can all be done online in advance of planning meetings that will start in June.
Time Commitment: Typically 10 hours per day for 1 or 2 days. Training and meetings in advance of the event are required as well.
