There will be several opportunities to assist with serving meals at our site in Waukesha.
We currently serve only Tuesdays and Thursdays but will increase the number of days per week as we recruit more volunteers.
This is an idea chance to experience the joy and satisfaction of serving, as well as meeting interesting and diverse people.

Mission Statement
To bring hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families where they are.
Description
The Stone Soup Project was born of a lifelong desire to defeat hunger, combined with a true passion for cooking and serving. We are bringing meals directly to the people who need them, along with clothing, toiletry items, and other essentials. As we come to know the people in the community we are learning of greater ways in which we can serve them and enhance their quality of life. We are fundraising for both our ongoing operating budget and to purchase a food truck, which will give us great freedom and reach into less populated geographical areas. Often, hunger is hidden and needs are unseen. We intend to uncover those areas and fulfill them. We have been operational just over two weeks and have met and come to know many people, we have served nearly one hundred meqals, and we have provided comfort, friendship, and love to our sisters and brothers.
