Cutting Grass, weeding, pruning, clearing ivy and blackberry bushes. Cleaning under trees and around the homes. Imagine how nice it will be outdoors at your own pace. You may not have your own yard and this will be chance to see the fruits of your labor and beautify your community at the same time. Volunteers can check out program yard tools. Check in with us to see how your household members can come help too!
Background on Volunteer Services:
Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair, and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a Washington State Patrol check and attend an orientation.
