The Humane Society of Jefferson County is offering a week long Day Camp for ages 5 to 12 years. The day camp provides animal interactions, games, crafts, guest presenters and memories to last a lifetime. The HSJC is looking for enthusiastic volunteer Camp Counselors to help during this camp. You can volunteer for specific days or the whole week. Hours are 9am-4pm, so there is the potential for 35 service hours in just 5 days! Volunteers will be background checked and must be willing to work with children and animals.
This is a great opportunity for high schoolers 16 years and up, college students, or just anyone that would like to create a really fun week for a group of kids!
For the quickest reply, please email Taylor at tvehlow@HSJC-wis.com or fill out a volunteer application: https://volunteer.bloomerang.co/web-admin/app/#/join-party?k=w83m2n5wb0ik0n.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Humane Society of Jefferson County is to care for the lost, homeless and abused animals of Jefferson County, help place them in forever homes, and work to inspire kinder and more humane communities.
Description
The Humane Society of Jefferson County, Inc. (HSJC), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was incorporated on September 11, 1922.
We fulfill our mission through a wide range of programs including companion and livestock animal rescue, adoption services, emergency transport rescue, animal medical care, community spay-neuter services, our Barn Cat Rehoming Project, community outreach and educational programming, and community room rental.
Volunteers are a critical part of making our mission to save the lives of homeless, abused, and unwanted animals possible. Volunteers help support the HSJC in a wide range of ways from helping in the office to representing us in the community, caring for the animals, and even doing tasks around the shelter property. If you're interested in making the lives of animals better, we'd love to have you as a volunteer.
