AFRIMERICAN CULTURE INITIATIVE INC

This opportunity is for a candidate with many years of experience in writing technical research papers and producing professional technical reports.

We have been conducting research on the segregation Federal government policy of Redlining in the Boston, MA for the past year. The purpose of the research paper is to study the effects of redlining on built environment today as well as to demonstrate 'redline Sprawl' the migration of redline characteristics along with communities of color. Our specific focus is on a Burger King erected directly opposite a school in Hyde Park, MA.

This opportunity will require the volunteer to bring many different aspects of our research together. We have conducted smaller research projects, developed reports, commenced projects and followed court proceedings to develop a body of information and references that need to be used to make a professional technical report.

  1. Ability to bring many different ideas together, clearly and concisely in a professional manner.
  2. Use the reference material provided to support the ideas and make standard references.
  3. Produce professional technical report with pictures.
  4. Synthesize technical report into presentation form.

Overall objective is to present a thorough professional technical report with appendices that will withstand critical questions that this research will most definitely invite and presentation that will be able to convey the key elements of our report to the community.

We are a startup nonprofit organization that was founded in late 2015.

We push towards our mission through the development of the first in the nation Connect 4 program. This is a comprehensive multisensory cultural education program that aids the African diaspora connect culturally and learn about Africa. The 4 steps are MyDNA, MyEducation, MyCommunity and MyTravel. Our organization is an inclusive group. We aid the African diaspora which we define as African Americans, African immigrants, Afro Latin, Afro Caribbean and the 'friends of Africa' (those with Africa in their hearts and not in their DNA).

While we focus on all ages we pay special attention to the youth. Always striving to provide fun, practical and informative information.

We are a startup and we are stillfine tuning our offerings, board membership and programming so this is a great time to join us.
