Help Nice Queer Pals Run and Maintain Their Virtual Spaces

Nice Queer Pals is a grassroots, volunteer-led nonprofit that focuses on providing social support, wellness resources, and education for queer women and trans and nonbinary individuals, though all LGBTQ+ folks are welcome to join. They aim to create a safe space for members through monthly socials, online discussion forums, movie nights, talent shows, a Discord server, and more. Currently, they are seeking tech-savvy volunteers to fulfill the following roles:

• Online community manager: post various topics of the week to create discussion, write welcome posts for new members on the Facebook group, and make 1-2 posts on Facebook or Discord per week.
• Meeting facilitator: help run the monthly Zoom social (2-hour meeting once a month on a Wednesday night) by sharing icebreaker topics and helping manage the breakout rooms. Optional responsibility is posting to advertise the upcoming meeting on the Nice Queer Pals socials.
• Webmaster (Website Manager): create a basic, cost-effective website with 1 single page to list some information about the organization, the 501c3 nonprofit they are part of, and a few links to their Facebook page, Facebook group, and Discord server.
• Social event organizer: help organize or plan virtual events for Nice Queer Pals, i.e. talent shows, board game nights, movie nights, or whatever you think would be enjoyable.
