We are in constant need of volunteers to help people unload their vehicles, to educate them on proper recycling (without making them feel bad!), engaging family members that come to recycle with the driver (4 legged and 2 legged), and generally being a fun but educational place to go. Volunteer Clovers are either "people engagers", "equipment operators", or "clean up crew". We teach you everything you need to know, including how to safely operate our equipment. We are open to the public "every day with a T in it" so that's Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11am-7pm, BUT we are prepping material for sale on the other days. So if you have the time, we have the need 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm! No experience necessary. Any age welcome...as long as you love people and recycling...this is the place to be! Can't wait to welcome you!

About Clover Recycling

Location:

1411 W Market St, Warren, OH 44485, US

Mission Statement

To provide a safe, clean, educational and fun location to take recyclable material like metal, glass, plastics, paper, cardboard, clothing and household donations. Our goal is to be a recycling center where you actually can make, see and buy the product that is made from your donations. A service disabled, US Army veteran owned, woman owned, small non-profit business looking to make a difference in Northeast Ohio one recyclable at a time!

Description

Since 1972, this recycling center has had a few names but has been owned and operated by Robert Smith since 1987. The recycling center made Bob a businessman, but Bob made "The Center" a place of community appreciation and gathering. Friendly faces of the owner, his employees, his volunteers and the 4 legged helpers made the Howland Trumbull Recycling Center a place people looked forward to going to every week. The Center was always open on "every day with a T in it"! After over 30 years of making The Center a well-known entity in the community, the time has come for Bob to retire. In order to keep the business in the family and to begin the legacy of a second generation family owned business, his oldest daughter Jenny, a Veteran of the US Army, has decided to take the reins. So although the name has changed to Clover Recycling, the friendly family atmosphere where we appreciate every customer, have a safe and clean environment, and a welcoming smile to greet you, will continue. Clover Recycling will be an official Nonprofit 501c(3) Corporation as it moves forward. It will also be registered as a Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Total Small Business with the Small Business Association. Although the recyclables that we have taken in over the years have changed, our commitment to providing a necessary service to Trumbull and surrounding counties remains unchanged. This is our home. Please come visit us!
