Are you 55 years or older and looking for safe, socially distant volunteer opportunities? Become an RSVP volunteer and we will connect you with variety of opportunities in the community. We are your "one stop shop" for finding volunteer opportunities in the community, such as:
- Telecare caller- Provide friendly phone calls and check-ins to isolated seniors who may not get regular contact with others.
- Greeting cards- Make simple uplifting cards to be given out to Meals on Wheels clients
- Help with food insecurity needs through food distribution opportunities (work independently)- Provide Groceries-To-Go, meal deliveries, food pantries and more
- Diaper Bank- Volunteers are needed to help at their warehouse, counting donations, unpacking shipments, sorting & organizing and filling diaper requests of social service agencies.
- VA Medical Center- Numerous opportunities for Volunteers
- Alzheimer's Association- Remote opportunities to help bring aware to Alzheimer's Disease
- & Many other great agencies looking for Volunteers

AmeriCorps Retired and Senior Volunteer Program promotes volunteer opportunities for older adults in Hamilton County. By assessing the interests, talents, and skills of adults 55 and older and determining the biggest needs in our community. We bring together community partners with a strong corps of experienced volunteers to help build capacity and outreach efforts for food pantries, health and wellness programs, social service agencies, and assistance to home-bound seniors.
So whatever your passion and purpose is, we are here to connect you to local nonprofits. Our program is exclusive to those 55 years+ and in and around Cincinnati, Ohio.

Description
RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is an AmeriCorps Senior program with VANTAGE Aging. We connect volunteers age 55 and older with opportunities to serve their community. As the largest volunteer network for older adults in the nation, RSVP matches volunteers with organizations where their time, interest, talents, knowledge, and experience are most effectively utilized to meet important needs in our community. Our main objectives are to help in these fields;
- Nutrition & Food Support
- Elderly Companionship
- Adult Education and Employment
- Other Community Priorities
As a RSVP volunteer, you would receive:
- Nationally counted and recognized volunteer hours
- Additional free liability insurance while volunteering
- Free recognition events, incentives, and opportunities to socialize with other RSVP volunteers
- Free in-person and/or virtual trainings
