Best Friends Animal Society is building a grassroots movement to save more pets’ lives. We promote pet-friendly laws and programs to make sure our communities and elected officials support animal-friendly programs and policies.

· We are looking for people with research or campaigning experience, or people who want to gain some. The work is flexible, challenging and will have a high impact.

· As an online campaign volunteer, you will be responsible for contacting local businesses, community organizations, and animal welfare groups who may be interested in partnering with our campaign.

· Campaigns will be specific to the needs in your community (for example, community cats, specific legislation, etc).

· This is a great opportunity to learn about advocacy, grassroots organizing, volunteer recruitment and management, event planning, and more.
