Volunteers Coaches Needed - Healthy Living Program
Healthy Living Program Volunteers co-lead workshops to help people manage medical conditions, providing support and education for older adults.
The Savvy Caregiver program is a free, 6 week Evidence Based training program for informal caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s or Related Dementias who live at home, or are planning to return home. SAVVY Caregiver is facilitated by trained Practitioners, and builds information, knowledge and skills to enhance care provider skills.
There will be a free virtual training opportunity to become a Savvy Caregiver coach on March 29 & 30. The training program is offered through the Healthy Living Center of Excellence located in Lawrence, MA, and will occur via Zoom on Tuesday & Wednesday, March 29 & 30 from 9am to 3:30pm. The 6-week Savvy Caregiver training is facilitated by co-leaders, each of whom has completed the 2 day virtual training.
