American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Event Leadership Team members plan and implement all aspects of Relay For Life Drive Through Luminaria in the Beach Cities of Redondo, Manhattan and Hermosa Beach as well as Hawthorne and Lawndale in collaboration with their American Cancer Society staff partner. Various roles and tasks are needed. A great skill and resume builder to help plan and implement this meaningful event. All meetings leading to the event on June 26th will be virtual.

Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. Local communities get together to create an event to Celebrate, Remember, and Fight Back!! Relay for Life raises funds to help support cancer research and provide services for cancer patients. Relay is also a venue for education and information about cancer prevention.
Relay for Life is a 24 hour event where teams of people camp out and walk in support of the fight against cancer. Further information can be found on the website www.relayforlife.org.
