We are in need of a team to assist with planning a strategy for Give STL Day. This year, we would like to create a plan to increase our approach to soliciting donors on that day (May 6 th) or even with the early giving day (Apr 5 th). Request: Seeking volunteers to review the purpose of Give STL Day and assist IYBI to plan how to participate in encouraging donors to select us as their nonprofit of choice during this time of giving. This team will be self-managed and provide an update (via email or phone) every 2 weeks. We are here to answer any questions you have.
Our preferred request is a team in the St. Louis, MO area or someone that is familiar with Give STL Day.
The Give STL Day website contains several recourses to help with planning.
Here are a few of my recommendations based on our brainstorming meeting:
Our Goal: $2,500
Develop a 6 week strategy for social media. There are several templates available by searching 'social media strategy’
Create a video stating why you volunteer with IYBI or why someone should donate
Create a donor letter we can send to donors
Plan how you will encourage your friends and family to participate in giving
