Sound the Alarm Territorial Lead:
Through the Sound the Alarm! and Home Fire Campaigns, the American Red Cross has installed over 2 million smoke detectors in at risk neighborhoods and have save over 800 lives! This is a lead position. Volunteers will
- Provide ongoing supervision to Home Fire Campaign Team Members
- Support the annual preparedness goals through participation in meetings, projects, and local response activities
- Assign Home Fire Campaign activities to team members in your operating area according to the relevant activities and there.
- Projects may include tasks such as leading Home Fire Campaign events, meeting with partners to build relationships, conducting inventory, supporting reporting efforts, and procuring or receiving preparedness supplies
Location: At this time, most positions are virtual. This position typically requires some in-person activity such as scouting locations, leading local events, attending meetings with partners and more. As counties begin to open up, there may be in-person opportunities but the majority of work at this time is virtual.
