Ontario Francis Fireworks Incident - Volunteers Needed
D ANDRE D LAMPKIN FOUNDATION
As you may already be aware, first responders with the city of Ontario have been working tirelessly to bring the Francis firework incident to a close. Investigations are still underway and evacuation orders are still in place. The community has been asked to give them the time and space necessary to complete their tasks.
In the mean time, the Lampkin Foundation is monitoring the situation and awaiting the opportunity to address the unmet needs of the survivors. We have also reached out to our community partners to express our organization's intent to coordinate a long term recovery effort.
In the very near future, we will need volunteers to assist with the recovery effort. We are looking for members of the community who are interested in joining the volunteer effort.
