Purpose : You can help us make a difference in the lives of families in Weber County, Utah! Welcome Baby is a free home visitation program where trained volunteers make monthly visits to new parents in our community. During visits, Home Visitor volunteers share a free gift, milestone and development information, and additional community information .
Length of Position : A commitment of at least six months with two or more families is asked of our volunteers.
Time Commitment : Volunteers create their own schedule and choose the number of families they would like to visit per month. Additionally, we ask that volunteers attend at least one in-service training per quarter.
Qualifications : We look for volunteers that have experience working with children and families. As well as volunteers who are passionate about supporting families in our community. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
